Sobi FM BOT Lukman Mustapha Mourns Akanbi, Daibu, Aberi
The Executive Director, Federal Mortgage Bank (FMBN) Mortgage and Loan, Mal. Lukman Olayiwola Mustapha has described the death of the 3 prominent sons and daughter of Ilorin Emirate, Prof. Mohammed Mustapha Akanbi and Justice Titi Daibu and Alhaji Isiaka Anafi Aberi, Vice-Chacellor, Kwara State University, Judge of Kwara State High Court
respectively.
Mustapha via a press release by his media office and made available to newsmen in Ilorin today said “I’ve had to mourn within the spate of 48 hours 3 illustrious Ilorin Emirate sons and daughter, both death came when Kwara needed their expertise most.
“While Prof. Mohammed Akanbi was a friend and brother, Justice Daibu was not only an Elder Sister, she was a shining light and worthy mentor and testament to the fact that gender is neither a ceiling nor barrier.
“Prof. Akanbi’s indelible mark in the legal profession, academics and Administration can’t be erased in the sands of time.
“Alhaji Isiaka Anafi Aberi, a brother, a business tycoon, lover of his community and a philanthropist extraordinaire.
“I commiserate with the Emir of Ilorin, Sheikh (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, Ilorin Emirate sons and daughters, the immediate and extended family of the deceased, especially the spouse and family of deceased.
