Strongest starting XI line-up for Argentina that could help them win the Qatar FIFA World Cup
Argentina after winning the last Copa America have been tipped as one of the strong favourite contenders for the most coveted trophy in the glamorous showpiece in Qatar.
With the Albiceleste playing their first game today, here is a strong probable starting XI line-up that could give them emphatic wins enroute to becoming the Champion in this year’s edition of the tournament:
Emiliano Martinez is expected to be in between the stick at the heart of the goalpost having emerged as the preferred number one choice of goalkeeper with Christian Romero and Nicolas Otamendi playing as the central defence, alongside Nahuel Molina and Marcos Acuna been deployed to the right-back and left-back position respectively to complete the four-man defence line.
The midfield trio of Leandro Paredes, Rodrigo De Paul and Alexis Mac Allister could be deployed at the heart of the centre-field with the former playing more of the defensive role while the other two are expected to play more of the offensive role, to help get the ball advanced upfront to complement the attacking force.
The attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Lautaro Martinez and Angel Di Maria could be deployed at the heart of the forward line with Messi and Di Maria playing from the left-wing and right-wing position respectively, while Martinez is expected to play as the main hitman upfront in the 4-3-3 formation.
