The Serial Killers Were Holding A Meeting Behind A Mosque In Ogun When We Stormed The Spot – Police
The News reports that three notorious serial Killers responsible for the criminal and cult activities in Ijebu Ode and its environs have been apprehended by operatives of the Osun State Police Command.
The Police Spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement on Saturday, detailed how the suspects, Odukoya Odushina, Subomi Popoola and Itunuoluwa Taiwo, were apprehended. He identified one of the boys, Odukoya Odushina a.k.a Odus as the Number 1 in the Eiye Confraternity.
He said: “The serial killers were holding a nocturnal meeting at a black spot known as Sanga at the back of Central Mosque, with the plan to unleash terror on members of the community, when operatives of the command from Obalende Division immediately stormed the black spot”.
SP Abimbola Oyeyemi continued that the hoodlums on sighting the police, attacked them with dangerous weapons but were subdued by the police. He said that items such as jewellery, phones and hard drugs were recovered from the suspects who apparently will be charged to court, pending the completion of the massive manhunt for other members of the gang.
