Tinubu meets with Labour, civil society
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) nominee for president, met with representatives of organized labor and the civil society on Monday.
It was part of his ongoing nationwide outreach and mobilization in advance of the 2023 elections.
At the Event Center of the Chida Hotel, Utako, the town hall meeting was organized by the Labour Directorate of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC).
The president of the Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC), Comrade Ayuba Wabba, and his counterpart from the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Comrade Festus Osifo, were among those present.
The APC nominee is joined by his running partner Senator Kashim Shetimma, members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila, the governors of the states of Kebbi, Jigawa, and Kwara, as well as party chieftains.
