UCL: Man City overtakes Chelsea as fourth most successful English team Top 10
Following their Champions League victory, Manchester City has officially surpassed Chelsea as the fourth most successful English team.
City defeated Inter Milan 1-0 on Saturday night to win their first major European championship.
In addition, they rose up the list of England’s most successful teams and became the second team, following rival Manchester United in 1999, to win the Triple Crown.
City have already won 26 major trophies, surpassing Chelsea’s total of 25, and are currently closely behind Arsenal, who have won 31.
With 45 trophies, Liverpool is the most successful team, surpassing Manchester United’s 43 major championships.
