Ukraine war: Our spirit will not give up – Zelensky reacts to latest Russian attacks
Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, has insisted that his country will not back down from the conflict between Moscow and Kyiv.
At the same time, Russia launched missile attacks on the Ukrainian energy sector.
Volodymyr Zelenskiy, the president of Ukraine, stated in an Easter greeting, “Our spirit does not give up.”
After Russian missile strikes on Ukraine overnight, Zelensky wrote to Ukrainians on social media, “There is no night or day when Russian terror does not try to break our lives.”
The President was in Bucha on Sunday to commemorate the two years since the city and its environs were freed from a terrible month-long Russian occupation at the beginning of the war, along with prime minister Denys Shmyhal and numerous foreign diplomats.
At the Wall of Remembrance in the town, which has the names of the 509 citizens who have been identified as having died during Bucha’s occupation, the Ukrainian leader lit a lamp.
