Uncertainty As Court Admits Report Of Over Voting Against Adeleke

The Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has admitted in evidence, the Certified True Copies (CTC) of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) reports showing the over-voting in favour of Ademola Adeleke during the recently concluded governorship election in the State. This has caused uncertainty in the State considering the gravity of the latest reports and its implications.

Governor Gboyega Oyetola and the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) are challenging the emergence of Ademola Adeleke and his qualification to contest for the top position in the State. Ever since Adeleke was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the incumbent Governor refused to publicly congratulates him which elicited mixed reactions from members of the general public, especially across social media platforms.

The Governor Elect has continued with preparations for inauguration as the tenure of the current administration ends soon. The special election tribunal court has also admitted documents and educational credentials of Mr Adeleke as confirmed by Blueprint Newspaper.
