UNILORIN hails Senator Saliu Mustapha’s philanthropic gestures

The management of the University of Ilorin has saluted the philanthropic dispositions of the Turaki of Ilorin and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Production Services and Rural Development, Senator Saliu Mustapha, to the University.

The appreciation was contained in a letter sent to the Senator on behalf of the University management, by the Registrar, Mr Mansur Adeleke Alfanla.

In the letter, dated December 27, 2024, a copy of which was made available to UNILORIN Bulletin, the University specifically appreciated Senator Mustapha’s fulfillment of a pledge of N3, 000, 000 he made to the Faculty of Physical Sciences at its maiden Hybrid International Conference in June, 2024.

The Registrar explained that the University deeply values leaders like Senator Mustapha, “whose acts of kindness elevate the reputation of the University.”

He added that the generousity of the federal lawmaker “inspires not only the Faculty of Physical Sciences but also the entire University community” as it equally demonstrates the Senator’s “remarkable commitment to giving back while promoting education and reinforcing the enduring bond between him and the University”.

The Registrar, who thanked the Senator on behalf of the Council, management, staff and students of the University, wished the Turaki of Ilorin a more successful career.
