Dear Mr. Omisore,

On behalf of the entire team (Banks boys), I would like to extend a warm welcome and heartfelt congratulations on your recent appointment as the Special Advisor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to the Governor of Osun State. This is a testament to your exceptional skills, dedication, and unwavering commitment to driving positive change.

First and foremost sir, I would like to express my deepest appreciation to Governor Ademola Adeleke for making the right choice in selecting you for this crucial role. Your vast experience and remarkable achievements, particularly during your tenure as an aide to the former President of the Nigerian Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, through the magic you created at the National Assembly have undoubtedly positioned you as a catalyst for transformation, development and progress.

As you embark on this new journey sir, it is essential to reiterate the significance of your role as a Special Advisor on SDGs. The Sustainable Development Goals are a global framework designed to address pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges. Your responsibility amongst others will be to provide strategic guidance and support to the Governor in implementing sustainable development initiatives that align with these goals.

To excel in your new assignment, I would like to offer a few pieces of advice sir:

1. Embrace Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders from various sectors, including government agencies, civil society organizations, and private enterprises. Collaborative efforts will foster innovative solutions and ensure the effective implementation of SDGs.

2. Foster Partnerships: Seek opportunities to establish partnerships with international organizations, development agencies, and other states that have made significant progress in achieving the SDGs. Leveraging their expertise and resources will accelerate progress in Osun State.

3. Prioritize Data and Monitoring: Develop a robust monitoring and evaluation framework to track progress, identify gaps, and make data-driven decisions. Regular reporting will enable evidence-based policy formulation and ensure accountability.

4. Raise Awareness: Educate the public about the importance of sustainable development and the role they can play in achieving the SDGs. Engage in advocacy campaigns, workshops, and community outreach programs to mobilize support and create a sense of ownership among citizens.

5. Innovate and Adapt: Embrace new technologies, approaches, and best practices to address the unique challenges faced by Osun State. Encourage innovation and adaptability within the government machinery to ensure efficient and effective implementation of SDG-related initiatives.

Mr Banks, my boss, your track record of bringing about revolutionary changes during your time in the Senate speaks volumes about your ability to drive transformation. I have no doubt that you will bring the same level of dedication, passion, and expertise to your new role as the Special Advisor on SDGs.

Once again, congratulations on this well-deserved appointment. We are confident that under your guidance, Osun State will witness remarkable progress towards sustainable development and become a shining example for others to follow.

We are here to collaborate and contribute to your success.
