Matchday 2 of the World Cup kicks off at 2:00pm today.
England vs Iran
The Three Lions will take on Iran in their first group stage match. The two teams will face each other at the Khalifa International Stadium. England has a higher chance of winning today’s match based on their squad depth. If England wins this afternoon, they will be on top of the table for the time being. USA will face Wales later on today
Senegal vs Netherlands
At 5:00pm today, Sengal will take on Netherlands at the Al Thumama Stadium.Netherlands will be without their attacking talisman Memphis Depay for their World Cup 2022 clash against Senegal today. Netherlands have a few injured players at hand but due to their squad depth, they won’t have to worry much. The likes of Denzel Dumfries and De Roon may not feature in today’s opening match for them

Senegal on the other hand lost their star man Sadio Mane due to an ankle injury some weeks back. They will feature in today’s match with their most versatile squad.

USA vs Wales

Wales will make their first appearance at the World Cup in 64 years when they face the USA in their Group B opener on Monday night. The match will be played at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium. USA are back at the World Cup finals after missing the 2018 edition in dismal fashion following a defeat in Trinidad & Tobago in their final qualifier.
As for Wales, all eyes will be on Gareth Bale once again, as the former Real Madrid star will be the leading light for Wales following his heroics in the playoffs.
