Your reign ushered in unprecedented development, peace’ – Senator Mustapha hails Emir of Ilorin at 85
The lawmaker representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has joined the people of Kwara State, especially sons and daughters of Ilorin Emirate, to congratulate the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, on the occasion of his 85th birthday anniversary.
In a personally signed statement, Senator Mustapha, the Turaki of Ilorin, expressed delight that the royal father has been blessed to witness yet another year of life in good health.
He described the Emir as a distinguished jurist and an outstanding statesman whose reign has brought tremendous peace, unity and development to the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State at large.
Senator Mustapha specifically thanked the Emir, who is the Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Traditional Rulers, for his constant fatherly advice, love and support.
He also commended him for his exemplary leadership, which has preserved the rich traditions and values of the Ilorin Emirate.
Senator Mustapha prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) bless the revered Emir with good health and grant him many more years to lead the Ilorin Emirate and its people.
