Female Lecturer Gives Birth To Septuplets (7 Babies) In Anambra State

A female lecturer at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Anambra State has reportedly given birth to septuplets (seven babies), consisting of 2 boys and 5 girls. According to a post on the Newspaper that, the lecturer’s name is Mrs. Ngozi Uzodike, and she works in the Department of Business Administration.
She was delivered the babies at the Obijackson Women and children hospital, Okija, on Sunday, but one of the babies, unfortunately, died (a girl). The family is reportedly seeking funds to offset the N19 million bill they incurred at the hospital during the whole process of delivering the babies.
The new mum reportedly said that she has not received a salary since she started working in the institution in December 2020. Her husband, Mr. Celestine Uzodike appealed to the Nigerian Government to pay his wife the two years arrears they owe her.
According to him, the babies came out at 26 weeks and they had to be kept in the intensive care unit, which will cost N3 million each for the 6 babies, as one had already died.
