I survived the Assassination Attempt, Lost 4 Police men -Ohakim

Ohakim also extended his gratitude to Nigerians for their love and blessings after he survived the horrible attack. He also tasked the Imo State Police command with finding the criminals responsible for this crime and making sure that no one escapes punishment for trying to kill him and for the murder of those brave security guards.

“As I write this message, my heart breaks for the 4 officers I lost, but I thank God that I survived the obvious assassination attempt,” Ohakim stated.

While we are indebted to God for this miracle, I must admit that we are still processing the deaths of the four brave security guards who gave their lives in an effort to save mine. These were young men with a bright future ahead of them because they were in the prime of their youth and careers.
