Kwara central Agog as Senator Mustapha Launch Alubarika 1.0 Empowerment in Grand style

Senator Saliu Mustapha, who represents the Kwara Central Senatorial District, announced the “Alubarika 1.0: Agricultural & Human Capital Development Empowerment Programme,” a multibillion-naira massive empowerment initiative, on Friday.
The event, held at the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority in Ilorin, was a major attempt to provide tools, resources, and capacity-building initiatives to market women, farmers, craftsmen, and small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).
In his speech, Senator Saliu Mustapha stated that among the items being distributed as part of the empowerment initiative are transformers for certain communities, tractors, cars, CUG fuel tricycles, start-up kits for installing solar power, cows for farmers, market women’s and men’s goods, cash support for businesses, and other items.
Saliu Mustapha claims that these initiatives are meant to promote President Tinubu’s objectives in the fields of agriculture and energy while also accelerating economic growth.

During the event, Senator Jibrin Barau, the Deputy Senate President, praised Senator Saliu Mustapha’s dedication to human capital development and agriculture.
“Any society’s ability to survive depends on its level of agricultural empowerment. Life cannot exist without sustenance. The Senate gave Senator Mustapha the chairperson of the Committee on Agriculture because of his strong background, Barau said.
He also commended the program for tying business and skill development together, which is in line with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Acknowledging the program’s effectiveness, Barau promised to continue working with Senator Mustapha and vowed support by supplying 200 sewing machines to further empower women and artisans.
In a same vein, Senator Tokunbo Abiru gave N10 million to empower 100 women in the senatorial district of Kwara Central.
Senator Abubakar Kyari, the Minister of Agriculture, stressed in his remarks that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s agricultural reforms are having an impact, increasing food availability and progressively lowering costs.
“I can now declare with pride that President Tinubu’s food security initiatives are having an impact. That dedication is demonstrated by this program,” Kyari stated.
He also praised Senator Mustapha’s commitment to making sure the President’s initiatives are successful and highlighted his oversight role in the agriculture sector.
According to APC National Secretary, Senator Bashiru Ajibola, these skills-based empowerment is a special kind of intervention that helps people become independent. However, beneficiaries were warned by Ajibola not to sell the empowerment products, and they were instructed to use the occasion wisely to start their vocational activities and energize their enterprises. The APC National Secretary took use of the occasion to rally support for Senator Saliu Mustapha, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and President Bola Tinubu.

The Senate Chief Whip, Senators Mungonu, Abass, and Makanjuola Ajadi; the Senate Deputy Leader, Senator Oyelola Ashiru (Kwara South); and member KWHA Hon. Razaq Owolabi, former Kwara APC Chairman, Hon Bashir Bolarinwa and other party Stalwarts grace the occasion.
