It’s therefore cheering news to note that one of the prominent sons of Ilorin Emirate, Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki-Gambari MFR will on October 8, 2025 clocks 50 years.
The Gambari born Businessman, Politician and Philanthropist will not just be counting years but the day would affect him opportunity to reflect on manifold blessings Almighty Allah in his life. From the days of little beginning in Jos, Plateau State to formative stage in Ilorin and other parts of the country, Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki’s heart will be fill with gratitude to God.
The Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in 50 years of his existence has been a blessing to his immediate family, community, town, vulnerable and the state at large. His life journey speaks of dedication, consistency, perseverance, total submission to will of God, loyalty and commitment to good course.

Yahaya Seriki is a patriotic citizen and responsible businessman. His compliance with rules and regulations earned him accolades from Federal Ministry overseeing the mining sector and national award of Member of Federal Republic in 2022.
As a devoted Muslim, Yahaya Seriki always use his resources to support religious activities, societies and associations within and outside the state. He has consistently support the less privileged during festive periods to ensure the fulfill their religious obligations with ease.
The Ilorin born Politician is also known for contributing handsomely towards the development of his community. In December 2024, he donated one hundred million naira to support ongoing projects of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union.
