Wrestling Legend Hulk Hogan Dies at 71

Hogan was best known for his dominant run in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) during the 1980s and 1990s. He was a six-time WWE Champion, two-time WWE Hall of Fame inductee, and one of the most recognizable faces in wrestling and pop culture history. His trademark “Hulkamania” persona, complete with red-and-yellow gear and thunderous charisma, helped transform professional wrestling into a mainstream spectacle.
In recent months, Hogan had undergone neck surgery and was recovering well, according to his representatives. His sudden death has sent shockwaves across the wrestling world and entertainment industry.
Tributes have poured in from fellow wrestlers and fans around the globe. WWE released a statement honoring him as “a true legend whose impact transcended the ring,” while longtime friend Ric Flair posted on X (formerly Twitter):
