Makinde Promises Oyo Communities Link Roads
Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State, has pledged to link the Old Irepo and Old Ifedapo axes of the local government in order to increase the economic viability of the Irepo Local Government Area of the state.
Makinde reportedly remarked this on Monday when he brought his campaign train to the local government, according to a statement released by the governor’s chief press secretary, Taiwo Adisa, on Tuesday.
“The Old Irepo and Old Ifedapo will be economically intertwined in our next administration. Only now have we begun the intra-zonal linking process. Due of Saki’s economy, which we hope to develop into a significant economic hub, we have been connecting one zone with another in all other locations.
