Ambassador Olugbile, currently the CEO of Araba Technologies Ltd, is a Chartered IT Professional, a Fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society, a distinguished National Policy Fellow of the NACCIMA/Abuja Chambers of Commerce Policy Advocacy Centre, and a renowned figure in the global technology landscape.

He has facilitated key national digital transformation frameworks that have shaped the backbone of Nigeria’s digital economy. He brings over 22 years of experience across the private and public sectors, with high-level expertise in digital transformation and diplomacy, to the Association. He has served on the UN Secretary-General’s Global Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Group on Internet Governance for three consecutive terms and has been recognised as an Honorary Ambassador for Internet Governance. Amb. Olugbile’s work has been recognised at national and international levels, including by G-7 countries, the United Nations, the African Union, and ECOWAS. He has held various strategic leadership roles, transforming complex technology issues and digital policy that have impacted the government and private sector over many years.

This appointment marks a pivotal step in NACCIMA’s mission to position itself as the central hub for Nigeria’s digital economy. In his new role, Amb. Olugbile will oversee the development and deployment of NACCIMA’s Integrated Digital Transformation Platform (IDTP), a multi-faceted system designed to modernise chamber operations and enhance member services nationwide.

“Digital technology and innovation are integral to the development of the Nigerian economy,” stated Engr. (Dr.) Jani Ibrahim, National President of NACCIMA, at a recent forum. “This appointment aligns with the federal government’s target of achieving a $1 trillion economy by 2030 and ensures that the Organised Private Sector is at the forefront of this transformation’’.

Amb. Olugbile’s mandate includes harmonising NACCIMA’s digital initiatives with the National Digital Economy programme, with support from international partners. He will lead the coordination of high-impact strategic programmes which are designed to support the Federal Government’s five acceleration vectors: Knowledge, Policy, Infrastructure, Innovation/Capital/Entrepreneurship (ICE), and Trade.

The appointment is expected to provide the NACCIMA and Organised Private Sector with an unprecedented level of expert coordination and industry support. Amb.
