Tinubu Begins Move to Secure Votes From Nigerians, Plans Alliance With PDP, Labour Part
The All Progressives Congress’ (APC’s) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) is preparing an alliance with regional political groups.
According to Newscrescent, the APC’s partnership with other parties will increase the likelihood that Bola Tinubu, its presidential candidate, will win the 2023 elections.
It was learned that the PCC is hoping that by doing this, the parties will choose Tinubu as their standard bearer before the election.
On Monday, January 9, the former governor of Lagos State met with the governors of the ruling party to discuss some of the issues brought up by party members.
Adesoji Akanbi, a former congressman and current member of the APC PCC, revealed that the ruling party was seeking favorable agreements before the election outside of other significant parties like the Peoples Democratic Party, New Nigeria Peoples Party, and the Labour Party.
