I Will Transform Osun State for Better, Says Adeleke

Senator Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State, has reiterated his aim to restructure the state and make it a shining example for other states.
The governor made this promise at the 2023 Inter-religious service that was organized to ring in the New Year at the Government secretariat in Osogbo.
Adeleke promised the residents of the state that he would illuminate Osogbo as well as other significant towns and cities.
‘We’ll reach the promised land, I vow. You won’t ever see Osun dirty again. There won’t ever be another power outage in Osogbo or a blackout in Osun. There will be a consistent supply of power. The governor said, I will reign with the fear of God.’
He asked the state’s citizens to develop the habit of helping others in whatever capacity they could, and he urged the public workers to work with him to advance the state in the performance of their tasks because their wellbeing is the top priority in his administration.
“We must continue to ask what you can do for the state; we must not ask what Osun will do for us. To advance Osun, everyone must be on deck. I must work with the civil service to bring Osun to the promised land.
We have to make sure the state is spotless. I want Osun State to be spotless everywhere. I desire Osun State to inspire envy in other states. I’ll be making ad hoc trips to offices going forward, and if I notice that your surroundings are unclean, I’ll question you. Because you are representing the state of Osun, your offices must be spotless, the governor commanded.”
Adeleke added that his government would follow his five-point plan and that he was unwavering in his desire to bring Osun to the promised land.
‘For my 100th day in office, I am working assiduously to present outstanding accomplishments. Please keep praying for me. I can assure you that we shall reach our promised land gradually and steadily, he remarked.’
Earlier, the Head of Service, Mr. Samuel Aina, stated that the purpose of the 2023 prayer was to give thanks to God for all that He has accomplished and to commit the state’s affairs, which are being skillfully run by His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, to God’s hands for the year.
‘In order to achieve this, I sincerely request that all public servants strive diligently to increase the money accruing to the government internally. This is the least we can do to assist His Excellency, whose administration has made the welfare of workers and retirees a key priority.
Let me reiterate that the Osun public service is made up of very capable experts in many human endeavors who are incredibly committed and dedicated. These are proven professionals who are ready to help the administration complete its programs and projects’, the HOS said.
Deputy Governor Prince Kola Adewusi, Secretary to the State Government Hon Teslim Igbalaye, prominent bureaucrats, security officers, and heads of ministries, agencies, and parastatals were among the attendees at the 2023 prayer session.
