APC’s Radda wins Katsina governorship election
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Dr. Dikko Umar-Radda was proclaimed the victor of the Katsina governorship election on March 18 by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Umar-Radda received 859,892 votes to win the election for governor of the state, according to the results announced on Sunday in Katsina by the State Returning Officer, Prof. Muazu Abubakar-Gusau, Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University, Gusau.
He claimed that Umar-Radda defeated his close challenger, PDP senator Yakubu Lado-Danmarke, who received 486,620 votes.
