Former Flying Eagles Midfielder Sulieman Alabi JoJo Joins Armenian Side Sardarapat FC

Armenian Premier League club Sardarapat FC have completed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Alabi “JoJo”, marking the next chapter in the former Flying Eagles player’s career.
JoJo joins Sardarapat after an impressive spell with El-Kanemi Warriors, where he played a key role in the Maiduguri club’s successful campaign. During the 2024 season, the energetic midfielder helped El-Kanemi secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and contributed crucial assists in the club’s run to the President Federation Cup.
A product of La Planet Sport Academia, JoJo was previously scouted from Champions FC in Ilorin before earning his move to El-Kanemi Warriors. His consistent performances and work rate established him as one of the club’s standout midfielders.
The move to Sardarapat FC gives the Nigerian midfielder his first opportunity to play professional football in Europe. He is expected to strengthen the Armenian side’s midfield with his energy, passing ability and defensive qualities as the club prepares for the challenges of the new season.
For JoJo, the transfer represents another significant milestone in a career that has already seen him represent Nigeria at youth level. Supporters of both El-Kanemi Warriors and Nigerian football will be watching with interest as he begins his European journey in Armenia.
