Femi Fani-Kayode, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has responded to the Supreme Court’s decision regarding Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, and Kashim Shettima, the vice president.

The verdict, according to Fani-Kayode, showed that Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s nominee for president in 2023, failed to coerce or compromise the judges.

He asserted that Atiku’s plan to tamper with justice was unsuccessful.

“Atiku Abubakar and his Peoples Destruction Party’s nonsense case has finally been dismissed at the Supreme Court,” Fani-Kayode wrote in a tweet.

“I imagine he and his colleagues are sobbing right now because they were unable to obstruct justice, intimidate the Judges, or compromise their integrity.

We have triumphed once more, and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is victorious. Praise be to God!

We can only hope that this will end the Obidients’ and Atikulators’ insatiable desire for power.

The PDP’s lawsuit seeking Tinubu and Shettima’s expulsion from the 2023 presidential election was dismissed by the top court on Friday.

The group contested Shettima’s purported double nominating.

But the Supreme Court determined that the PDP’s lawsuit lacked any real validity.
