Real Madrid won’t be the same if Karim Benzema leaves the team, according to Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.
Benzema left Real Madrid to sign a free agent contract with Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League.
With the Saudi champions, the France striker will reportedly earn £200 million annually over the course of a three-year contract.
The Ballon d’Or winner and former MARCA player Dembele stated (via 90min): “Without Benzema, Real Madrid loses a lot since he is a wonderful player. Without Benzema, Real Madrid is not the same. There will be a significant loss.
He is a footballer that scores a lot of goals and provides assists, therefore this will also be a significant loss for La Liga. He is a fantastic player.
