Crisis: Atiku sends warning message to Wike

The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate for the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, has received a warning from Senator Dino Melaye, the party’s spokesperson and director of public affairs. Nyesom Wike is the governor of Rivers State.
Wike requested that Atiku keep him out of the PDP’s related problems on Monday.
However, Governor Wike claimed that a subpar product is never easy to sell, else former President Olusegun Obasanjo, with whom he had collaborated, would have endorsed Atiku to Nigerians.
However, Governor Wike remarked that the former president instead choose to support Peter Obi, a different presidential contender (Labour Party).
Governor Wike maintained that something must be seriously wrong if former president Obasanjo declined to endorse Alhaji Atiku.
Melaye responded by declaring that Atiku’s only transgression was winning a fair presidential primary.
“Wike served as Rotimi Amaechi’s chief of staff, but Amaechi did not have enough faith in him to give him control.
“I tell him to back anybody he wants to because we won’t put up with his arrogant behavior any longer.
Is there something wrong with Wike that Amaechi did not disclose to him, one could ask? Why will Atiku leave him behind for Prince Uche Secondus, Rt Hon. Austin Okpara, Sen. Lee Meaba, H:E Celestine Omehia, Chief Abiye Sikibo, Sen. George Sekibo, Hon. Chinyere Igwe, etc. There is clearly a problem somewhere.
