MOK Meets G15 Coordinator Oloriegbe, Reaffirms Commitment to Greater Kwara
The political atmosphere in Kwara continues to take shape earlier today as Alhaji Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode, founder of MOK Foundation met with the G15 Coordinator, Senator Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe in Abuja, for high-level talks on the future of the state.
The crucial meeting, held in Abuja, focused on recent political developments in Kwara, strategies for strengthening unity, cohesion, and pathways to accelerate development across the 16 local government areas.
Senator Oloriegbe, who coordinates the influential G15 group, briefed MOK on ongoing engagements aimed at consolidating unity and deepening grassroots mobilization ahead of key political activities in the state.
Speaking after the meeting, MOK expressed appreciation to the leadership of Kwara for the confidence reposed in him.
“I sincerely thank the leadership of Kwara for finding me worthy to contribute to the progress of our dear state,” MOK said. “The trust and support mean a lot, and I do not take it lightly, it’s a reassurance that our contribution to the development in Kwara is being noticed .”
He went on to reaffirm his dedication to the ideals of service and to the collective vision of a greater Kwara.
“My commitment to the development of Kwara remains total,” MOK added. “Whether in the area of youth empowerment, infrastructure, education, or economic opportunities, we must keep working together to build a Kwara that works for everyone.”
Senator Oloriegbe described the discussion as timely and productive, noting that unity among stakeholders is critical to sustaining the gains recorded in the state in recent years.
The G15, made up of key political leaders across Kwara including Yahaya Seriki, Senator Saliu Mustapha and other eminent members, continues to play a central role in shaping consensus and driving the agenda for inclusive growth.
Both leaders agreed to sustain consultations and to align efforts with the broader objectives of the administration in delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Kwara.
