Real Madrid hit five past Al Hilal to secure fifth Club World Cup title

Real Madrid defeated Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal 5-3 in the Club World Cup final on Saturday, extending their winning streak to five. Federico Valverde and Vinicius Jr. each scored twice, and Karim Benzema added a goal.

European champions Real scored first with Vinicius in the 13th minute, and Valverde doubled their advantage five minutes later, but Al Hilal responded through a goal from Moussa Marega on the break.

In the 54th and 58th minutes, respectively, Benzema and Valverde extended Real’s advantage with close-range goals, but five minutes later, Luciano Vietto cut Al Hilal’s deficit with another counterattack.

Vinicius scored again for Real in the 69th minute, but Vietto scored again 10 minutes later to defeat them.
