According to Nollywood actress Jaiye Kuti, 85% of married women choose to end their relationships.
The actress revealed in an interview with Gistzlife that she had made three attempts to leave her marriage but had ultimately been trapped in it.
She disclosed that, in contrast to their courting days, couples typically get to know each other better after marriage.
Kuti continued, saying that another reason women consider divorce is men’s selfish desire to cheat.
Of a hundred women, eighty-five would want to get out of their marriage. I made three attempts to depart. The issue is that people tend to show more of who they really are when they marry someone from a different culture. When a man wanted to marry a lady, he would spoil her, but things get out of control when there’s a second marriage and children involved. Males are likewise prone to egotism and are irrepressible in their deception.
