KWHA Screened and confirmed commissioner nominee Dr Afees Abolore ALABI
Speaker of the House of Assembly RT Hon. Yakub Danladi Saliu led the confirmation together with other house members.
After the speaker carefully reviewed all of Dr. Afees Abolore’s credentials, member of the house Hon. AGF Salaudeen observed that Dr. Abolore is a man of good character and was previously nominated as a commissioner during Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq’s first term. He is one of the nominees who, in the opinion of the speaker, shows quality in his screening presentation and should bow out since he is deserving of the position.
Additionally, Hon. Oniboki seconded the move, stating that Dr. Afees Abolore’s evidence would be visible if the speaker could view the hallowed chamber’s gallery.
Speakers applaud their observations, but he goes on to question Dr. Afees Abolore Alabi, the nominee for commissioner, what the state should expect from him once he has been vetted and confirmed.
In a forceful response, Dr. Afees Abolore ALABI, the nominee for commissioner, thanked Allah Almighty for deeming him deserving of the role and thanked Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq for believing in him.
He went on to add that he vowed to uphold the honorable legacy of his excellency Mallam Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq, the governor of Kwara State, by continuing to do what the state’s deserving citizens desire.
Most of the people in the full hallow chamber of the Kwara State House of Assembly were friends and supporters.
Through prayer, his followers bear witness to his good works.
