Dr. Muhammad Tahar Adam (Baba Impossible), the commissioner for religious affairs under the government-disloyal Kano State governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, was fired on Saturday.

According to a statement issued by Muhammad Garba, the state commissioner for communication and internal affairs, Ganduje has terminated the commissioner’s employment with immediate effect.

The commissioner and member of the state executive council were fired as a result of their “unbecoming attitude as a public servant holding sensitive post, as well as imprudent statements,” the statement reads.

He was also discovered to be managing his office’s operations on a personal level and even arbitrarily decreasing the number of workdays for the ministry’s personnel by excluding Wednesdays and Fridays.

“Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has already sent the name of a nominee in person of Dr. Nazifi Ishaq Bichi of Bayero University, Kano as replacement for screening and appointment as new commissioner,” the statement continued.

The statement, however, states, “The governor, wished the former commissioner the best of luck in his future endeavors.”
