Man shot dead by alleged hired killers after being enticed to leave a party in Edo
In Benin City, Edo State, gunmen who are thought to be hired killers shot and killed a guy named Akugbe Ogbidi.
On Saturday, January 14, 2023, the victim—a local of Obazagbon outside of Benin City—was at a party in Benin when he got a call.
He left the gathering and went to the person he was thought to know.
The deceased, according to the Standard Gazette, informed his party guests about the call before he proceeded to meet the individual.
He was supposed to come back to the party, but it was the last time anyone saw him alive, and his phone was unreachable.
The predicament made his pals wary, and they followed in his footsteps. Around Sapele Road in Benin, his remains were discovered in a bushy area.
