AFCON 2023: Super Eagles Land In Cote D’Ivoire
Aéroport International Felix Houphouet Boigny d’Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire has welcomed the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations, which kicks off on Saturday, January 13, 2023.
Ahmed Musa, the captain, guided the team.
The national team left for Cote D’Ivoire on Wednesday morning, according to news reports from the Crescent media. On Tuesday, the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, gave them a supper at the State House, Marina, Lagos.
The Atlas Lions, the national football team of Morocco, created history on Saturday when they arrived in Cote d’Ivoire for the tournament as the first team not from the host country.
Among the other national teams that have arrived for the competition are those from Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, Mozambique, and Egypt.
