Atiku Campaign Asks INEC To Cancel Results, Declare Election Inconclusive

He said that there were anomalies in the election, calling it a “complete divergence from the Electoral Act Amendment.”

Part of the statement said, “Section 65 of the Electoral Act demands the INEC chairman to remedy every anomaly (s) raised by stakeholders of the process (political party and their representatives) within 7 days.”

Mahmood Yakubu, chairman of INEC, was compelled by Bwala to:

“Immediately suspend national collation and respond to the parties’ concerns about BVAS bypass and electronic results transmission.”

Decide on a date for the elections to be held in the affected areas, and make sure the results are posted in accordance with the regulations. The aforementioned elections must be fair and free, and BVAS must be applied appropriately.

“Cancel all the results that have been compiled and declared thus far until such time that all the results that have been compiled at the polling places alone be uploaded to INEC’s server, the same ALONE NE ANNOUNCED, and duplicate copies of which all party agents have for the sake of transparency.

Declare the election inconclusive and designate a date for new elections to be held in places where BVAS was not used and where violence has suppressed people’s right to vote.
