Dr. afees abolore alabi hails Gov. Abdulrazaq on successful presentations of 2024 appropriation bill

Dr. Afees Abolore ALABI, the immediate past commissioner for tertiary education congratulates the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the successful presentations of the Year 2024 fiscal plan for and on behalf of the Government of Kwara State. The document he said speaks volumes of the existing consolidation drive of His Administration with focus on expanding the economic base of the State and without compromising the collective prosperity of its citizenry through infrastructure development and social welfare packages respectively.

Abolore also celebrates the remarkable achievements of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led administration in its first- four year tenure as evident in the continued mandate of trust/confidence reposed by people of Kwara State on one hand and a number of legacy/people-oriented projects that are ongoing with some nearing completion on the other. People of Kwara have also been assured of consolidating on all of these gains while the Government have also committed to the commencement of new flagship projects (including steps or measures to industrialised Kwara State) with direct or indirect impacts on job creation; expansion of revenue base; welfare of the people and general prosperity of our people that is sustainable based.

Dr. Afees Abolore ALABI who hails from Iponrin (one of the rural/Osin part of Ilorin East Local Government of Kwara) while appreciating the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on some roads reconstruction/repairs in the Ilorin Metropolis (the urban part of Ilorin East Local Government) has also seize the opportunity of this press release to humbly and respectfully recall/draw the attention of the Governor on some economically viable rural roads that connects other local government areas in the State. Some of these roads in the rural or Osin part of Ilorin East Local Government have already been earmarked for possible attention of the Government in the construction of statewide access roads through RAAMP. For instance:

-Panada/Agbeyangi road that linked Ifelodun LG

-Iponrin/Marafa/Pepele that also connect Ifelodun LG

– Panada/Oloro road links Moro LG and

Maya/Ile-Apa and Oke-Ose/Sabo road amongst others.

The former commissioner has commend the continued support of the other arms of government in the state particularly ‘the Parliament’ or the Legislative Arm for their outstanding support to the Executive Arm of the Government and their marvelous performances in the areas of law making, oversight and quality representations of our people.

Finally, Abolore says he will continue to applaud Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for His style of leadership and governance having demonstrated a clear departure from hitherto what was the norm in the past administration of the State. Practically all the sectors in the state are witnessing one activity or the other as resources permits in accordance with the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr President and without compromising prompt payment of salaries of the workforce of the State amongst others.
