Drama As Senator Moves Motion For Suspension Of Keyamo’s Ministerial Screening
On Monday, Darlington Nwokocha, a senator from the Abia Central Senatorial District, moved to suspend Festus Keyamo’s ministerial screening. Keyamo is a nominee from the Delta State.
Enyinnaya Abaribe, a senator from the Abia-South Senatorial District, seconded Nwokocha’s proposal.
After that, the proposal was put to a voice vote by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, but the members couldn’t agree on anything.
A boisterous session instantly broke out in the red chamber.
