Kwara 2023: Wahab Issa Dumps Saraki, Joins APC
Hon. Wahab Issa, a staunch supporter of Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, a former Senate president, has joined the All Progressives Congress.
In advance of the National Assembly elections on February 25, Wahab Issa, the PDP’s candidate for the House of Representatives from the Ilorin East/Ilorin South Federal Constituency, withdrew from the opposition party on Tuesday.
According to Report, the former federal lawmaker met Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Wednesday at Presidential Lodge to express support for his reelection.
Prior to the Governorship and House of Assembly elections on March 18, he also vowed to support all APC candidates.
