Leading Agro-Processors Hit Pause on Grain Procurement as Nigeria Battles Food Crisis

Two major players in Nigeria’s agricultural sector, Olam Agri and Premier Feed Mills (PFM), have announced a temporary halt to their procurement of maize and sorghum. This news, communicated in separate statements on February 16th, 2024, underscores the severity of the ongoing food crisis and soaring prices gripping the nation.
