NPFL: NFF Suspends Referee Gata For Misconduct
Center referee Mohammed Gata has been suspended by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) from officiating in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
In a memo to the official, Mohammed Ameenu, the chairman of the referee committee, affirmed this.
Gata has been suspended with immediate effect.
During the matchday 24 match between Katsina United and Heartland at Muhammadu Dikko Stadium last weekend, referee Gata was deemed unsatisfactory.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw between the two sides.
