10th NASS: Kalu takes new course at Harvard
Orji Kalu, the Chief Whip of the Senate, has declared that he is ready for the 10th Senate since he has provided himself with the necessary information beforehand.
The former governor of Abia State announced this on his Facebook page, where he also shared images of himself finishing a Harvard Business School leadership course.
Leaders don’t take risks without a clear plan, he wrote. They never pray haphazardly. Without hints, they wouldn’t rise.
“They are constantly prepared and keep expanding their knowledge base. We were ready and prepared in advance for the 10th NASS.
On March 21, Kalu announced his intention to run for Senate president, claiming that it was his turn to hold the top office in the Red Chamber.
Since then, he has met with both the president and the president-elect, Bola Tinubu and Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret. ), where he has revealed his ambition.
In addition to writing personal letters to the members of the National Working Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress and 108 Senators-elect, Kalu, who is competing with Senator Godswill Akpabio for the position of Senate President, also expressed his interest in the position.
