Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, and Earl Spencer, the brother of Princess Diana, will also not be present.

In February, Earl Spencer stated he did not anticipate receiving an invitation to the coronation.

Joe Biden, the vice president of the United States, will not be present at Saturday’s coronation of King Charles in Westminster Abbey, London, England.

The US First Lady, Jill Biden, will go with a delegation, according to a statement from Washington after Biden informed King Charles by phone that he would not attend the coronation.

Although the whole guest list has not been made public, according to Sky News, the coronation will be attended by roughly 2,000 people.

Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry, is one of several well-known people who have already declared their intention to skip the wedding on May 6.

The Duchess of Sussex won’t go since Harry will travel to see his father’s coronation, thus she won’t be there.

Meghan’s absence has been cited for a number of reasons, one of which being that she wants to celebrate Archie’s fourth birthday, which falls on the day of the coronation.

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, is not anticipated to attend the coronation, which is not unusual. Since he invaded Ukraine in February 2022, he has become an outcast on the entire planet.

Following the issuance of an arrest order by the International Criminal Court for alleged war crimes, Putin would also risk being detained if he visited the UK.

While other Middle Eastern heads of state, notably the crown princes of Bahrain and Kuwait, have been invited, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will not attend the event.

After US intelligence revealed that the strong royal had sanctioned the gruesome killing of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018, he was widely denounced on a global scale.

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, and Earl Spencer, the brother of Princess Diana, will also not be present.
