Eji Lanwa Constituency: PDP and SDP candidate battle for seat as APC Candidate Lacks Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC)
All elections for political offices are subject to rules and regulations that are implemented in accordance with the authority granted by the Electoral Act of 1999 (as amended) and the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 Constitution.

Evidently, the two potent opposition parties in kwara state are vying for votes to choose a candidate for the eji/lanwa seat, moro local government area, at the house of assembly. The Social Democratic Party (SDP) and People Democratic Party (PDP) are the only parties that can run in the Eji/Lanwa house of assembly member election on March 11, 2023.
What kind of bogus political party is the All Progressive Congress (APC), whose unelected candidate, HAJIA ABDULRAHEEM MOTUNRAYO MADINAT, is handed a party ticket despite their fraudulent and dishonest primaries in the constituency?
Since the APC party does not have a qualified candidate to represent the good people of the eji/lanwa constituency of the moro LGA in the kwara state house of assembly, the All Progressive Congress APC is logically and strategically locked out of the game.
“A vote for the APC is ineffective for the constituents in the Eji/Lanwa seat in Moro because the party has demonstrated its inability to select a candidate who is qualified to speak and serve the interests of the constituents instead of simply selecting candidates based on parochialism.
We here urge the electoral commission to conduct legal research and penalize the APC party for failing to adhere to the rules and guidelines of the election act (as amended).
