Following the recent unfortunate incident that occurred during a protest, I paid a courtesy visit to the Kwara State Chairman of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Sunday Fagbemi, to express my concern and reaffirm my unwavering loyalty to the leadership of our party and the administration of His Excellency, the Governor of Kwara State.

During the meeting, I unequivocally condemned the act of violence and destruction of property that occurred during the protest. Such actions do not represent the discipline, values, and political maturity that our great party stands for.

The APC remains the largest and strongest political party in Nigeria, built on the sacrifices, loyalty, and collective commitment of millions of members across the country. As such, it is important that we continue to protect the unity and stability that have made our party a formidable political family.

As stakeholders, we must always remember a simple but powerful truth: “Nobody wins when the family feuds; we all lose.” Internal disagreements must never degenerate into actions that weaken the collective strength and image of our party.

As a loyal party stalwart from Asa Local Government Area and a committed supporter of this administration from its inception, I emphasized the importance of unity, inclusiveness, and responsible engagement among party members. The strength of our party lies in the diversity of its loyal supporters and grassroots leaders, and it is important that opportunities and recognition reflect that broad base of support.

It is therefore important that opportunities, recognition, and political engagement are extended broadly across different groups within the party structure, rather than concentrated within a single bloc. This approach will further strengthen the party and consolidate the overwhelming support our administration continues to enjoy at the grassroots level most especially the Youths.

The State Chairman appreciated the visit and reaffirmed his commitment as the father and chairman of the party in Kwara State to ensure that such incidents do not reoccur. He assured that the party will take necessary measures to maintain discipline and peace while ongoing investigations continue.

Prince Fagbemi also offered prayers for the continued success of the Governor and for the unity, growth, and prosperity of all members of the APC across the state.

I remain fully committed to the progress of our party, the success of our government, and the continued unity of our political family.
