I once lived a fake life ’ – Singer Kcee Spills

Kingsley Okonkwo, better known by his stage name Kcee, is a Nigerian singer who has spoken out about leading a false life prior to becoming affluent.
According to Naija News, the singer spoke up about his early days in the entertainment business in an interview with TVC.
The singer of “Limpopo” claimed that in order to become well-known and obtain acceptance from the public, he displayed a lot of bling and expensive items online.
Kcee observed that despite only having a single room to call home, he dressed in cheap luxury stuff since he already saw himself as a wealthy individual.
The singer continued by saying that he filled a niche for himself and that soon after, people began to associate him with money.
He said: “Well, when I grew older, I used to show you all kinds of jewelry. proving to you that I’m pricey even if I only have one room to call home. I was demonstrating to them my lifestyle. I would travel to a location near Surulere and purchase such large jackets. Visit Yaba.
I tried to lead a luxurious lifestyle even though I wasn’t. However, I could already recognize myself in that image. And what occurred was that I began to be perceived in that way by others. I started creating songs to demonstrate my high price tag. I’m wealthy. And I began living the life, joke after joke. I began to consider that possibility.
And I’m happy to say that I’m living authentically today thanks to God’s grace. I used to frequently wear false [chains], which would burn my neck. The iron will be visible searing my neck. My neck is burned by the sun. I do, however, wear IceBox today. As a result, you must construct and design the journey. God and illusion will aid in your presence. Create something for yourself, is my advise.”
