The Peoples Redemption Party’s (PRP) candidate for president, Mr. Kola Abiola, has criticized the APC-led government for subjecting Nigerians to unfathomable misery due to the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) erroneous implementation of the Naira redesign and cash swap (CBN).

This stance was made clear by Abiola in a statement released and signed by the PRP Presidential Campaign Council on Sunday.

He believes it is sad that the current APC-led administration has executed a policy like a currency redesign or swap, which should increase financial inclusion and safeguard the interests of the majority, insensitively, excluding the underserved individuals from the financial system.

If elected, he pledged that such haphazard and callous behavior won’t happen again.

This kind of avoidable tragedy that has befallen the people of this wonderful nation shall never happen to us again. According to the statement, “as an administration, we would demand good rules and uniform implementation across the board from CBN so that things are done correctly.

Therefore, he asked the electorates to elect him on February 25, 2023, promising Nigerians that the party will carry out people-centered policies.

He emphasized that the PRP is the key that can free the populace from oppression and backward-looking government regulations.

A Cost of Living Adjustment policy will be introduced and put into effect by a PRP-led administration (COLA). We will lessen the problems faced by unemployed or underemployed citizens by using a well-structured means test to evaluate each family unit’s eligibility.
