Scam: Sowore slams Peter Obi for taking a contribution from a secondary school student

Omoyele Sowore, the AAC’s presidential candidate, has criticized Peter Obi, a candidate for the Labour Party (LP), for accepting a monetary gift from a secondary school student.
According to Naija News, a secondary school student named Chizzy Ebube Balogun recently gave money to Obi’s presidential campaign.
The Labour Party candidate thanked the young girl for her donation and announced the news on Twitter on Sunday. She called it a modest but priceless gift.
He continued by saying that the schoolgirl had contributed to her future, the futures of her peers, and the futures of generations yet to come.
“My sincere gratitude to Ms. Chizzy Ebube Balogun, a secondary school (SS2) student, for her modest but incredibly helpful donation,” wrote Obi. She has made investments in her future, as well as in the futures of her contemporaries and future generations. She is a role model for social conscience.
“May God richly bless your generation. -PO”
But in response to the donation, Sowore called the event a hoax.
Additionally, he made a comparison between Obi’s action and that of President Muhammadu Buhari, who, while running for office, took a donation from a young girl who handed her pocket money at the time.
