Tinubu slams Atiku: “You can’t incite discord between Buhari and I”
Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), said on Thursday that Atiku Abubakar’s attempt to blackmail him would fail on behalf of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
President Muhammadu Buhari and Atiku’s attempts to clash, according to Tinubu, would be unsuccessful.
He was responding to Atiku’s campaign’s response to a comment he made about fuel shortages and the new naira in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
According to reports, Tinubu said that the redesigned naira and the current fuel shortage were intended to harm his presidential campaign.
In Abeokuta, Ogun State, during his presidential campaign, he made this disclosure.
The Atiku/Okowa campaign committee, however, responded to Tinubu’s remarks by stating that the presidential contender believed Buhari was exploiting the revised naira and the present fuel shortage against him.
The APC presidential contender, however, took issue with Atiku’s camp’s response.
PDP and Atiku should keep in mind not to get high on their own smoke, Tinubu said, speaking through the campaign spokesman Bayo Onanunga. No attempt at political extortion or a rift between Tinubu and his steadfast ally, President Muhammadu Buhari, can be successful.
