National youth development bank is being planned by Federal Govt – Jemila Bio
A national youth development bank is being planned by the Federal Government, according to Minister of Youth Development Dr. Jemila Bio Ibrahim, as part of President Bola Tinubu’s attempts to improve young Nigerians’ access to finance.
When Jemila made these remarks upon her arrival in Ilorin, Kwara State, she added that the program will encourage youth entrepreneurship.
She declared that the bank would provide access to cash and the chance to expand their firms, so enabling young entrepreneurs to achieve economic prosperity.
The minister stated that the ministry’s responsibility was to establish the conditions and opportunities necessary for young people to thrive, and that the government was working on initiatives to spur youth development throughout the nation.
We’re here to spread the word about and demonstrate economic prosperity. We support the President’s action plans because we are weary of the past and see him as a unique liberator of young men and women. And the ministry of youth development will do the same.
Initiatives such as the National Youth Development Bank are on the horizon. Young entrepreneurs will, of course, have easier access to the market and more cash thanks to this effort, which has the President’s endorsement and support, the speaker said.
As I looked at this The Honorable Minister states in her opening remarks that she is ready to work with the State Ministry of Youth Development to create opportunities and a supportive environment for youth to flourish. This is in keeping with the vision of the youth-friendly projects started by Governor AbdulRazaq and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s #RenewedHope slogan.
The arrival of minister for youth was joined by Kwara state commissioner for youth miss nafisat Musa Buge, Commissioner for business Innovation Mrs Damilola Yusuf, chairman youth council of Nigeria Mr Nasir Abdulkadir, Director of state NYSC and many supporter and youths across the state.
