Abacha’s ex-Chief of General Staff, Gen Oladipo Diya is dead
Oladipo Diya, the former chief of staff to Sani Abacha, the military head of state, has passed away.
Diya passed away at 79 years old.
On behalf of the family, Barrister Prince Oyesinmilola Diya released a statement on Sunday confirming his death.
In a statement, the whole Diya family—at home and abroad—announces the demise of Lt. General Donaldson Oladipo Oyeyinka Diya (Rtd) GCON, LLB, BL, PSC, FSS, mni, who was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
