Aiyenugba rallies Kwara United teammates ahead gruelling season-ending
The squad captain of Kwara United, Bamidele Aiyenugba, has urged his teammates to prepare for the trials that lie ahead in the season’s final few games.
Aiyenugba, a veteran of the Nigeria Premier Football League, claimed that teams always approach games differently at the conclusion of the season than they do in the beginning.
The shot-stopper urged his teammates to work hard if they wanted to meet their season-long goal.
Aiyenugba told the Daily Post, “We need to prepare for the obstacles ahead of the season’s final few games.
“The second stanza is different from how we approach sports. In order to reach our season-long goals, we must work hard and endure hardship.
Kwara United lost to Shooting Stars 1-0 at home last weekend, which was a blow in their battle against relegation.
