Abdullahi Ganduje, the governor of Kano State, has persisted in criticizing the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for enacting the naira redesign program.

Because of the time of its introduction, he recently criticized the policy and compared it to the “COVID-23” virus that is engulfing the population.

According to the Punch newspaper, the governor criticized his counterparts, Governors Godwin Obaseki of Edo state and Governor Duoye Diri of Bayelsa state, for launching a lawsuit in support of the policy in a statement released by his media assistant, Abba Anwar.

We won’t cease holding the CBN responsible for this economic error. We adore the folks here. Thus, until the suitable channel and appropriate moment are put out, anything that will disrupt their well-being must be rejected.

“We didn’t ask for this scenario, and we didn’t pray for it, therefore we certainly don’t welcome it. Similar palliatives were administered during COVID-19. And currently COVID-23, brought on by the CBN, is a problem for our citizens. Until to now, we believed it to be a straightforward sickness, but regrettably it turned out to be a very serious virus going viral.
